Documentary Film

From the ancient city of Urbino delving into the world of engraving, to Smith Island, Maryland documenting population decline, to Washington DC telling the story of our neighbors experiencing homelessness, documentary filmmaking has taken me to places I never would have explored otherwise.

My documentary filmmaking showreel.

The Soul of Engraving

The Soul of Engraving

During the summer of 2022, I independently produced a documentary showcasing the Bruno Cerboni Bajardi Academy of Engraving in Urbino, Italy.

Street Sense Media

During the summer of 2022, I worked with Street Sense Media to help tell the stories of our neighbors experiencing homelessness. In this short, I interviewed Queenie Featherstone, a longtime resident of Washington, DC who recently obtained housing after experiencing homelessness.

Smith Island

In October of 2023, I went on a 2 day trip to Smith Island, Maryland with the JMU Honors College to learn about various issues facing the residents. Each student was tasked with a research project for the class, and I chose to make a short documentary about the dwindling population on the island.
