End of Year Video 2023-2024

The End of Year Video was the longest and most complex project I completed at UREC. The entire process from planning to completion took almost 6 months. I helped lead the planning and execution of dozens of different shoots, and acted as the lead editor in a months-long post production process.

Why We Play Campaign

In my first year working as a Marketing Assistant at UREC, I was tasked with producing a video campaign highlighting students participating in Sport Clubs at JMU. The focus of this campaign was to interview members of Sport Clubs about their motivation for playing on their respective teams and how their passion for the sport fuels them.

This campaign was developed with the intention of marketing the services offered by UREC’s Sport Clubs division to prospective students.

Vertical Video Content

A large portion of my work at UREC has been shooting and editing vertical video designed for Instagram Reels. I created this particular video to promote on of UREC’s annual special events titled “Nightmare at UREC”.

Participant Highlights

A major part of my work at UREC included producing videos that highlighted the participant experience. In this particular reel that I helped to shoot and was the main editor on, we engaged students participating in Intramural Sports about some of their favorite music.

2024 Hiring Campaign

During the spring of 2024, I was tasked with creating two pieces of video content for UREC’s hiring push.

One was an animated Instagram story that I developed by animating an Adobe Illustrator file in After Effects. The other was a short video for UREC’s in-house digital displays, which was shot by me, edited in Premiere Pro, and finalized in After Effects.
